I am using MiKTeX 2.9. in Windows 7. I am trying to use divipdfm[x] (via WinEdt) to convert a .dvi with eps figures and get an error (log below). The strange thing is that another installation of MiKTeX 2.9 in Windows XP, the conversion works. I think both installations have the same updates. Both installations seem to read from "dvipdfmx.cfg" %% Use MiKTeX Ghostscript: D "mgs.exe -q -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sPAPERSIZE=a0 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.3 -dAutoFilterGrayImages=false -dGrayImageFilter=/FlateEncode -dAutoFilterColorImages=false -dColorImageFilter=/FlateEncode -dUseFlateCompression=true -sOutputFile=\"%o\" \"%i\" -c quit" Both installations have roots "Program Files ... MiKTex 2.9\" and \localtexmf\ Is anyone else having a similar problem? I'll try to work on a "minimal example."
