Installing in System context

Dear MiKTeX-Experts,

at work we want to install MiKTeX 2.9 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. This installation takes places on hundreds of pcs at the same time. Hence, we do not install the program by double-clicking an exe-file. Instead, we use the command line syntax. However, the installation is run in the so-called "system context", i.e. there is no actual user logged on to the machine but the "machine" has administrator privileges (see http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/system-center/default.aspx for more details). Irrespective of whether we try the 32-bit basic.exe or the 64-bit version the installation simply stops at an arbitrary point. Unfortunately, no setup.log is created unless the setup-process is successful. Hence, I have no idea when and why exactly the setup process stops.

Any ideas?
