You will probably have to work with a graphics tool like tikZ which allows a space to be defined by coordinates and various things then to be done.

Subject: [MiKTeX] how to insert one figure as part of the other figure ..

Hi, everybody, here I have a problem which I have tried many times to solve but failed to solve. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Suppose that I have two eps figures A and B. Usually, I use
\begin{figure}
\centering
\includegraphics[totalheight=90mm]{A.eps}
\caption{Show Figure A}
\end{figure}

Now my problem is this: I want to insert another eps figure B.eps (as a small annotating figure) inside Figure A, i.e. inside the bounding box defined by
\includegraphics[totalheight=90mm]{A.eps}. I do not want to affect both the position of Figure A and its caption either.

How could I do this?

Many thanks, and my kindest greetings.

Shantou
