The new version of the "german-latest" pattern family has the date 2012-05-30 in its name. So languages which uses the old version should be deactivated or removed or changed. On my PC the update removed the language. But I have a single user installation. In multiuser system local settings can overwrite global ones and if the local ones haven't been updated too old settings can remain. Your log-file use a local configuration file: > C:\Users\denise\AppData\Roaming\MiKTeX\2.9\tex\generic\config\language.def At first run, if you haven't done it yet, an update in user mode. Then check the language tab in miktex setting (in user + admin mode) and remove or deactivate languages with 2009-06-19 (there can be more than one. Look for german, ngerman, swissgerman). -- Ulrike Fischer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
