Well, the latest version of the mathdesign package is now available to 
MiKTeX users (thanks, Christian), but there is a new problem now. If I 
try to compile this file:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[charter]{mathdesign}
\begin{document}
Hello World!
\end{document}
------------------------------

then I get this error:

!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file md-chr8y): Font md-chr8y at 600 not found
  ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!

Any idea about what might be causing this?
