Try pdflatex. There are other ways but that is the easiest. Makes a .pdf directly from the LaTeX file

I am new to this and need help. I used MiKTEX and produced a LaTex file. I now want to generate a PDF output for printing. What should I do to generate such an output? Are there specifics commands? If so what are they and where should I input them? I could not make much  use of the Manual instructions on this matter. Help!
