Installing packages in TexMakerX

Hi,

I am using TexMakerX editor and have installed Miktex. When I try running
the .tex file which runs successfully on an editor like Texmaker, I get the
below error message.

First I was gettin the below message:
Error: Could not start the command: latex -src -interaction=nonstopmode
"kkg-dissertation".tex

Then it compiled with many error messages like:

Cannot determine size of graphic in graphics/fig1.pdf (no BoundingBox).
...cs[width=0.8\textwidth]{graphics/fig1.pdf}
Cannot determine size of graphic in graphics/fig14b.pdf (no BoundingBox).
...cs[width=\linewidth]{graphics/fig14b.pdf}

Underfull \hbox (badness 10000) in paragraph

 `!h' float specifier changed to `!ht'.

Can someone please comment why I get these messages only in TexMakerX ?
