Well, almost *** everyone *** listening to this list will use
PMX, and that is: engrave (rather: print) music with musixTeX
and PMX :-)

Reinstalling musiXTeX should give you the 2 files. Another
question is whether pmxab and/or scor2prt will work flawlessly
under Windows 8 64 bit. I have no experience with that.
