Re: problem installing miktex 2.9

I think that the best idea is to always install into a file without space in it. I simply cannot understand why MS did that space OK thing. It causes problems in an intermittent manner.

As far as I remember this messages are normal.

Did you get some error later or what is your problem?

I always install 

- in my user acount in single user mode without special rights
- in some folder outside C:\Program Files (currently D:\miktex2.9)
- I use the 32bit (as it contains biber) version of miktex
- and I use the basic installer (to avoid troubles due to interuptions in the internet connection. Also it is faster.).
