Thanks, I m used to working with Winedt and that is why I prefer MikTeX+Winedt path. I have McTeX+Texshop installed, but Winedt is my editor of choice. I got SP 2 and 3 and now can start the installation, but in the middle of it I get an error messag, the log file says: An error occurred: source file: Libraries\MiKTeX\PackageManager\PackageInstaller.cpp source line: 3281 message: The operation could not be completed because the following file failed verification: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\MiKTeX 2.9 Setup\toptesi.tar.lzma info: Any idea how can I bypass this?
