Fw: DVI2pdf

After removing all related programs, cleaning the registry and installing a new version of MikTex I still 
got the same problems: Textify + dvi2pdf gives a pdf with all graphs much too small.

My problem is solved, but in an unexpected way:
- jpg file contain resolution and dimension information (shown by IrfanView)
- IrfanView cannot save EXIF information, unless it is in the original file
- I don't need to (should not) specify a bounding box for jpg figures when using the following
  + WinEdit7
  + PdfLatex (compiler options are not relevant)
  + execute PdfLatex at least twice to get the list of content, index, list of figures etc correct.
     The first time they might be empty or incorrect
  Result: my document of about 600 pages and well over 250 jpg figures is ok (also the graphs dimensions
  which were previously too small).
Just for the record:
- Yap gives problems (after Textify, with bounding box for the graphs!, with all possible compiler options)
- Textify + command line "dvipdfm my.dvi" gives a nice pdf, but all graphs are too small

Given all this and the previous use of the programs, I have the impressions there  is a problem
in MikTex 2.9 that need to be solved.
