problem with powerdot package

Hi All
I enountred some troubles with the package powerdot(to produce pretty slides)
It seems that there is a problem with the dvi2ps command
I reinstalled miktex2.9, ghostscript9.10 and ghostview5
even when i run the examples given by the package powerdot, this does not work: the system fails to produce a ps file
This trouble has appeared after i updated recent packages from the miktex site
Any help to fix this problem???
