Package update failure

My MikTeX installation did "package maintenance", because I used a
particular style file for the first time. It was looking for
paralist.sty, and it went to
http://mirrors.rit.edu/CTAN/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/paralist.cab.

The response was an HTTP 404.

I went to the above site. "paralist.tar.lzma" is present, but
"paralist.cab" is not.

This seems to mean that there is a meta-data error (looking up whether
one is fetching a .cab file or a .tar.lzma file) somewhere or that a
mirror is out-of-synch.

I understand what has happened, but I have no idea who to inform of this
error.

Can someone give me a hint as to who to tell?
