Hello again. Thanks for the answer. I don't have the update wizard (or I can't locate it) but, running mpm-admin I could uninstall babel and then reinstall. All goes OK with this workaround. The installation was a fresh install made with basic-miktex-2.9.5105-x64, so I think that the babel package included there may be revised. Thanks.
