Dear Ulrike, Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, even doing the update both as user and admin does not change the situation. Both the user and the admin package managers show the pgf package as of version 3.0.0, but when compiling .tex files with pdflatex, the logfiles still show that version 2.10 is in use. What else could be done?
