no .ps or .eps figure rendering after last update

So, applied the 24 January updates. All went well (no errors), but 
*major* compilation issue. No .eps or .ps figure renders. I usually 
compile using the .tex -> .dvi -> .ps -> .pdf sequence. But now...

1\ using TeXifY, no .eps figures are included in the .dvi file,

2\ and as such, nothing shows up in the (ultimately) generated .pdf file.

Everything else seems fine, but this is a pretty big, and fundamental 
issue.
