Installing a cls and a bst file

I have Miktex 2.9 and WinEdt 8 on a Windows 7 machine. I have added nothing to Miktex but I now want to add a cls and a bst file from the same journal so that I can work in their Latex style. How do I set up a local folder and where within it do I put each of these files? Thank you. Jennifer Harding
