Fwd: Problem with forest after last update

I don't know if it's important. I've forgot to say that I also did a 
"Update Formats" last week.

Today I've found a problem with `forest` package. Something so simple like

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{forest}
\listfiles
\begin{document}
\begin{forest}
[A]
\end{forest}
\end{document}

fails. The first error shown is

after entering `s`, it shows several error messages and finishes with a
wrong pdf.

Forest was working in my system on april, 21st and I used again today.
In the mean time only a miktex-update after april, 24th.

Anybody knows what can be wrong in my system? Does forest work for you?
