Are you on a Windows system or a Linux/Unix system?

I do this frequently. I am on a Windows system. To run in batch mode, you write a .bat file. Bat files, if you are not familiar with them, are scripting files, without quite all the flexibility of scripting in the Linux/Unix context. If you wish to go full scripting, you can install Cygwin in the windows environment, which is a toolset which sets up unix-emulating tools within the Windows environment.

What commands you put in your .bat file depend on the process you wish to perform. My CV-build file contains commands to delete previous junk files, compile the LaTeX program using pdflatex, run biber to resolve reference, run pdflatex again, and sometimes to copy the file to a new location.

I'm an absolut beginner in MikTex.

In the first steps I created a *.tex and *.U3d file.


I opened the *.tex file in the graphicmode and create a 3D-PDF as wished.

Now I would like to automate the steps. How do I run it in a batch?
