MikTek does not exist, but MikTexX is a thing. MikTeX is a free implementation of TeX and related programs for Windows and is not something you can "be a member of." However, you can help the project by donating http://miktex.org/giveback or download the source for yourself and develop the software further http://miktex.org/sourcesYou can also be a member of this mailing group, which you already appear to be.
