Problem with tex4ht and the komma-script classes like scrbook.

Hi,

When trying to compile a document of csrbook class with htlatex, I get
the following error:

(C:\Users\david\AppData\Roaming\MiKTeX\2.9\tex\generic\tex4ht\scrbook.4ht
! Missing \endcsname inserted.
<to be read again>
                   \MessageBreak
l.201 \:temp{rm}

Having looked around for a solution, it appears that there is a patch to
be found: http://tug.org/pipermail/tex4ht/2014q1/000913.html

Would it be possible for MiKTeX to come with this problem corrected, or
must one wait for upstream to do it, assuming they haven't done it yet?
