Re: can't write on file xx.aux...

High all,

I have the same problem, but with a file *without any numbers*. The filename
is Formelsammlung.tex. It is an appendix of a book with 9 chapters (included
with \include{Kapitel1} ,... } which is included in the same way as the
chapters with \include{Formelsammlung}.  No problem to write on files
Kapitel1.aux,... BUT
No file Formelsammlung.aux.
! I can't write on file `Formelsammlung.aux' ....... Please type another
output file name:

there seems to be a problem with the last update with some file names
involving numbers.

the below file is called "X1.1.tex":

Here is how much of TeX's memory you used:

before the last update, file names of this form did compile fine.  if i
rename the file to "X1.01.tex", everything is OK.
