Internal error (1)

Dear MiKTeXers, After refreshing my MiKTeX9 (32) bit directory by using the program setup-2.9.5721.exe I wanted to update my installation. According to the log file the downloading was OK. When clicking on the icon MiKTeX Update Admin I got an error message Internal error (1) My installation is a complete installation under Windows 7 (64) bit. I remark that I regularly update my installation in this manner (last time one and a half month ago) and this is the first time for my receiving an error message. What might be the problem? Thank you for any advice in advance. (Should I reinstall MiKTeX?) With kind regards G.
