preview package doesn't work anymore

Hi!
It seems, that from MikTeX upgrade from December 22, preview package 
doesn't work as expected. Problems are:
- at use of
\setlength{\PreviewBorder}{3mm}
it gives error andstop working
- at use for example
     \usepackage[active,displaymath,tighptage]{preview}
   doesn't crop page to size of equation, complete package is shown.

On MikTeX installation from before December 22 (lucky me, I still have 
one laptop with it), package work as advertised.

Do anyone experienced similar problems? Do anyone know how to solve this?
