Fwd: Brunello Tirozzi

Hi

I have a problem with the installation and updating of MikTex 2.9 on a
64-bit toshiba with windows 7. I tried to install it in the directory
proposed by the installation program:

C:\Users\Brunello\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTex 2.9

but the program said the this directory is not empty. The problem is that I
do not know how to reach this directory because it doesn't appear when i
start to see the directories from C: and I go down.. Then I changed
directory and installed everything in C:\Program1\MikTex 2.9., i.e. I made
a new directory C:\Program1. Now it happens that the editor Texworks can
open the latex file but when I compile the message appears that
babel-italian is not known. The problem is that the MikTex update utility
doesn't work within this installation and so I cannot take the .cls files
and other utilities from Internet and there are many system files of this
kind which are missing. Can any body help me?
