It would be easier for him, if you would give better information. You didn't show the log-files, you didn't say how you compile (through an editor? Which one? On the command line?). Your description "sounds" (but this is a guess) as if the on-the-fly installation is failing. This can happen due to many reasons (and some of them unrelated to miktex e.g. texniccenter was known to block it in the past). I suggest that you either install a full miktex, or install the package with the package manager (admin if you have a multiuser installation). Synchronize the package list first (menu repositories). Probably if it would be also good to check for updates. http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/108447/how-should-one-maintain-and-update-a-miktex-installation/108490#108490 Disclaimer: I didn't got the last updates of mid january and don't know if there is a problem with them. -- Ulrike Fischer http://www.troubleshooting-tex.de/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
