bug | install of mathalfa package

The mathalfa package supports using the newtx and newpx fonts (which I
use and have been using for many years). Unfortunately, the MikTeX
package manager no longer seems to be installing it correctly (in fact,
not at all). It should be installed in tex/latex/mathalfa

However, the package manager isn't installing it in the right directory
(or any directory for that matter). This makes using newtx or newpx fonts.

I can get around this for now by manually dumping mathalfa.sty into some
directory in the root structure for my MikTeX install, but in the long
run, and for folks who might need mathalfa, but not know what to do
next, wanted to point our this bug.

1\ package manager fails to install mathalfa But, package manager
doesn't report any errors on the installation attempt, and in fact,
shows the 'supposed' installation date after the attempt.

2\ workaround is to put mathalfa.sty into the root strcutre somewhere
(remember to refresh the DB).
