Re: placement of allreference.bib

Besides that, if you are keeping your .bib file as a text file, you are probably working too hard. I use Mendeley to maintain my bibliography files. Mendeley stores the information, allows me to query on-line databases, and supports output of the biblio data as .bib files. It's not perfect, as the support and revision is VERY VERY VERY slow. But it does a lot that is good.

Thanks for the hints. It turned out that from \bibilography{filename}  miktex picks up filename in jtlocaltree\bibtex but not in jtlocaltree\bibtex\bib.
