biber v 2.6

I am trying to upgrade biber from 2.3 to 2.6 or higher. 

I deleted my miktex and downloaded (2016-04-08) a new version of the miktex 64 bit. I downloaded 5872. I installed this. 

When compiling, I still am on biber 2.3

Recommendations?
