Dear all, Thank you for all advises you gave. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I found on my hard disk the old installation file of MikTex, some old version, and installed it. And that solved the problem. It's not an optimal solution, but at least I can work on my documents. It strengthen a suspect that something is wrong with the new version which is published on the website.
