MikTex basic installation fails and I have not much idea about the reason.

Running basic-miktex-2.9.5987.exe on Windows 7:

Installation is interrupted, the log window shows:
...
visiting repository C:\Users\fin7tsal\AppData\Local\Temp\mik23006...
repository type: local package repository
loading lightweight database...
Registering root directories... Removing fndb (C:\ProgramData\MiKTeX\2.9)... Sorry, but "MiKTeX Configuration Utility" did not succeed. The log file hopefully contains the information to get MiKTeX going again: C:/Users/fin7tsal/AppData/Local/MiKTeX/2.9/miktex/log/initexmf.log You may want to visit the MiKTeX project page, if you need help.

Sorry, but "MiKTeX Configuration Utility" did not succeed.

The log file hopefully contains the information to get MiKTeX going again:

  C:/Users/fin7tsal/AppData/Local/MiKTeX/2.9/miktex/log/initexmf.log

You may want to visit the MiKTeX project page, if you need help.

An error occurred:
  source file: Libraries\MiKTeX\Core\Process\Process.cpp

message: The executed process did not succeed.
  info: fileName="C:\Users\fin7tsal\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex/bin\initexmf.exe", arguments="--rmfndb --log-file="C:\Users\fin7tsal\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex/config\uninst.log" --verbose", exitCode="1"

What should I do next? (I have installed MikTex earlier on different computer without any problems)
