After the answer of Mark saying all is ok in his installation, as I have a new PC I began to install Miktex there and the test also works without problems. As the installation was 32-bit, I tried to reinstall the 32-bit version on the old PC, but it still returns the same internal error. ... (omissis) Command Line: texify.exe --pdf --tex-option=--interaction=errorstopmode --tex-option=--synctex=-1 "F:\H\test.tex" Startup Folder: F:\H This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.17 (MiKTeX 2.9) ... (omissis) And in the new PC installing 64-bit version also works without problems. Now I think, the unique solution is to migrate all to the new PC, unless some of the reader has a better suggestion. Anyway, many thanks to all.
