That's not the problem. The problem is, how do you hack LaTeX to get it to work? Yes, the LaTeX Companion (base, graphics, web), is a super resource. However, when you have a problem, what do you do?

There are several excellent books available. For instance, I have used, "The LaTeX Companion", second edition by Frank Mittelbach and Michael Goossens may times. There are several other examples though.
