Re: MikTex 2.9 Failing to Update since beginning of November

I had just 'restarted windows', nothing running, but miktex update (or
trying to).

Last time I saw this error message it was because of an open texworks (or
something else miktex related).

So make sure that everything is closed and can't interfere

(But it is naturally also possible that after all your install/deinstall
frenzy in the last hour something is really
broken.)
