Andreas, Given that there were only 23 messages in the 16-day period from Jan 1 to Jan 16, using the daily digest option will not save you very many messages on your screen. However, if you wish to invoke it, at the bottom of each message on the list there is a link to the management page for the MiKTeX-Users mailing list. If you click on this link, and then look near the bottom of the resulting page, you will see the following text: "To unsubscribe from MiKTeX-Users, get a password reminder, or change your subscription options enter your subscription email address:" Enter the email address that your postings arrive at, and hit the "Unsubscribe or edit options" button. This will bring you to a page where you can enter your password and then edit your options. (If you do not remember your password, press the "Password Reminder" button on this same page, and you will be sent your current password.) I hope that this helps.
