As I wrote, I followed the instructions from the page that I mentioned. To be more specific, I ran initexmf --edit-config-file updmap on a command line. Then I added "Map mtpto2", I saved and closed the window, and then I ran initexmf --mkmaps > Run on a command line > > updmap --verbose > updmap.log > > and then show the resulting log-file. I did this and then I noticed that the map file mtpro2.map was missing from updmap.log. So, I ran again initexmf --edit-config-file updmap on a command line. This time, when a new window opened, it was not empty as the last time; it had the lines "Map manfnt" and "Map stmaryrd" (these are map files from my local root). So I added the line "Map mtpro2" (again!) and this time all went fine. Thank for your help.
