Incompatible versions of biblatex and Biber in latest MikTeX update

Well, I do not have to say much more than I have put in the subject line. The latest update appears to bundle a biblatex version and a biber version that do not work together. I have rolled back to a MikTeX version of last February, and everything works fine. But it may be wise to heal that incompatibilty in the current version.
