Console Update Fails

Hi, I have been trying to update MiKTeX for at least a week with no success. My most recent attempt failed with the following message: fileName="C:\Users\denise\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex/bin/x64\initexmf.exe", exitCode="1" What's wrong?
