Hello,

I'm new to MikTeX. I have been Texmaker to create a document in
LaTex. Installing packages has been straightforward until two days ago.

I have received a message: "A connection to api2.miktex.org could
not be established".

My ISP advised - "This means you can't reach or connect to their
server for some reason. It does respond to a ping, so it's running at least."

I'm not sure what to do next, in the log files below there is a
message: "If you are behind a proxy: make sure that the proxy is
configured for MiKTeX".

I would appreciate advice on how to proceed. Previously I could
select from a range of mirror sites, but now I only see a the random
selection option.

As far as I know there have been no changes to my computer (windows 10).

Bob
