PDF in PDF/X-1a:2001 format

Hi,

I am using texi2pdf to generate PDF for my book, and the publisher
requires the PDF conversion to use PDF/X-1a:2001 for printing.

Is there a way to accomplish this with texi2ps and pdftex?
