mailing policy

Hi all,

once again my apologies for the transmission of the infected material
on the list.
Unfortunately several attempts to avois this problem were not
successful. Neither did the virus scanners of the university catch it,
because it was hidden in a password protected attachment, nor did the
list policies help which allow only subscribed members to send
messages and which restrict the size of messages.
Of couse I myself would not have sent any material to the list as an
attachment at all, because I can put it on the web server for
distribution.
To avoid further problems of this kind I suggest that also all others
do not attach material to the list.
Anyway it is a wise policy to ignore attachments which are not clearly
announced and do not come with a proper real name in the sender field.
