PDF error in Mac OS X

Hi, I know this problem has been posted several times and I found them on
the mailing-list archive. However, I still don=B9t get the diagnostics I need
to go through to solve this problem. So I post this problem again.
I tried to replicate the extension.pdf presentation from extension.tex but
came up with an error:

Is there any way to diagnose the source of the problem? Or, can I get a
dependency relation among Latex packages and ppower4 package so that I will
reinstall all those packages and see the result? Or, does this has somethin=

to do with (La)Tex configuration and I need to ask to Tex User group?
