Yes. The problems disappears with this version. Thank you for making us aware of it. Regarding the specifications of new-page transitions, I am testing them now. If required, I will post them in the archive. Also I would like mention that PDF-1.5 allows sub-page navigation in presentation. (see the Acrobat Reader Reference from : http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/pdf/index_reference.html) I guess, may be I am wrong, implementation of this feature will lead to simplification of \pause structures considerably.
