Before teTeX-2.0, there was a very long development cycle and many
users have preferred the beta's over the old 1.0.7 release.

In this case, however, I plan to make a few beta's and then a release
without a large delay. The precise release date depends on the feedback
of the tests and the date of the next LaTeX release. But, I think that an
estimatied time of one or two months before the 3.0 release is reasonable.

And, we already have seen a first bug report, so I recommend to wait.
