OK. What's the output of
$ egrep -i 'xmversion|xmrevision' /usr/X11R6/include/Xm/Xm.h
?

For the time being, you can just uncomment that line. There
may be other similar problems since I never tried with Motif
1.x; maybe you can do `make -k' in texk/xdvik/ and send me the
whole bunch via mail.
