After reconsidering the options, it now seems to me that the interaction of saving the geometry with the papersize specified in the document, the shrink factor and possible -geometry options may become rather complex and obscure to users. So maybe the benefits of saving the window geometry are not really worth the trouble. I've now disabled this feature in xdvik_22.81.2-RC3. I also tried to clean up the X library linking configure checks a bit (hopefully without breaking anything ;-). Since diffs have proven somewhat unreliable, I've put a tar.gz of the texk/xdvik subdirectory only (and without the CVS directories) here: http://xdvi.sourceforge.net/xdvik_22.81.2-RC3.tgz [ Problem with scrolling ] > This is strange, I cannot reproduce the fault even on the > SunRay/projector setup. (In that case, also try things like `R' to redraw or `Ctrl-r' to reload to see if that has an effect.) Best, Stefan
