2.96.4 --with-x=no

Hello!


  I ran into a couple of problems while trying the new beta. Despite
the supplied '--with-x=no' ./configure-switch, libs/t1lib/t1X11.o was
build; well, it wasn't, since I have no X-headers whatsoever atm. I
solved that for the moment by removing t1X11.o from the OBJS list in
libs/t1lib/Makefile.

  With this change the rest built fine, but now 'texconfig confall'
exits with "Could not find app-default file for xdvi
(/usr/share/texmf/xdvi/XDvi). The program will exit now.". I am not sure
where this comes from; but despite this error, running pdflatex on some
random (small) tex-files seems to work.

  Sorry if I just warmed up old coffee, I didn't google that thoroughly
tonight for these problems.
