Whoops, my mistake.  It seems that the libraries are created when you are
building xpdf, but they are not installed by the Makefiles.  So I withdraw
this request.

Well, I personally think the best thing is to include the license statement
in each tarball, so that if somebody encounters this tarball someplace they
can figure out what the license story is with it.
