undefined symbol _XmStrings21?

I'm trying to compile teTeX 2.96.7.20040721 on Solaris 9.  I've done it before so I know it works, 
but I'm having some trouble since we installed some new libraries in /opt/sfw/lib.  I'm hoping 
someone can tell me which library that this error is coming from (I get the same error message 
from GCC 2.95.3 and 3.3.4 so I think the compiler is not responsible):
