For best results... replace the dvipsk/writet1.c by the new writet1.c in
pdftexdir. Similar also in texlive, if possible (gives dvipsk "PS"
instead of "PDF" error messages, and avoids the M_PI_2 redefine warning
during make).

BTW, you picked a libpng beta version that happily runs through all van
Schaik PNG test files without segfault. :-)
